New Moon in Cancer: Intuitive and Deeply Transformative Care

With a sextile to Uranus, trine to Neptune and opposition to Pluto, this new moon in Cancer is about so much more than new beginnings and what it means to care for ourselves and others. It's about the opportunity we have to see how innovative thinking, intuition and creativity, with the right intentions, can lead to deeply transformative experiences.

These outer planets are transiting through earth and water signs at the moment, making balanced aspects both supporting, and challenging, our two luminaries, the sun and moon. This could be seen as deep subconscious downloads coming in to us collectively, on a large yet subtle scale. This may feel like messages coming in that are quiet, cryptic and hard to decipher. When this happens it's because the universe is asking us to listen more closely, like figuring out a riddle.

Since the two farthest planets, Neptune and Pluto are both currently retrograde while Uranus continues its steady motion forward, there could be external transformations happening to support our collective spiritual growth. This is just the beginning though as Uranus will slow to a stop before also going retrograde August 24th when we see these internal shifts really being integrated.

Trust that what is happening now will be integrated slowly for future use. Metaphorically this could look or feel like the old fruits from the previous season beginning to decay into the soil, fertilizing it for spring's new crop. Unlike other new moons, this one will have a lasting effect long past this current moon cycle.

With support from innovative Uranus in Taurus and imaginative Neptune Pisces, we are able to deeply tap into our intuitive nature and connect with what it means to really care for ourselves and others in a way that creates very powerful change in not only our direct community but the wider world as well.

Instead of selfishly caring for ourselves or others in a way that is controlling and manipulative, we see how the gift is really in the act of giving, without expectation of receiving in return. Instead we trust that giving freely from the goodness of our heart is enough because we wish to nourish the world around us. Through this perspective of an open heart we can see the interconnectedness of all things.

Be engaged and grateful for the gifts being offered to you each day, in all forms, and offer what you can as often as you can. Then and only then will you see the world around you transform before your very eyes.

Wishing you love, light, peace, prosperity and abundance my friends. Take good care.
