This season asks us to explore the meaning of independent collaboration so that we can understand and connect with ourselves and other people in a more deeply satisfying way. Without independence and self-sufficiency it is very difficult to productively, and compassionately, understand ourselves and the unique ways we relate to others. Without a balanced connection to ourselves AND the world outside ourselves, we can tend to get lost or lose ourselves in one world or the other, especially during Pisces season. As a Pisces rising myself, I can attest to this experience of enmeshing with the experiences and lives of the peo ple around me if I get out of balance. The full moon in Virgo on the 24th is a checkpoint that asks us if we’re using our empathic abilities productively and efficiently or if we need to be more realistic and grounded in our relationships.
